Tammie Hursh is currently a Judge for the Lima Municipal Court having been appointed to this position by Governor John Kasich in September of 2014. Prior to that, Tammie worked in the City of Lima Law Department beginning in August of 2003. She has served as the Assistant Law Director, Chief Prosecutor at Lima Municipal Court and Deputy Law Director. Before being employed by the City of Lima, Tammie was an Assistant Prosecutor for the Hardin County Prosecutor's Office and spent five years as a magistrate in the Allen County Juvenile Court. Tammie is a native of Allen County and a graduate of Shawnee High School. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Bowling Green State University and completed graduate studies in Child Psychology through Indiana University in Bloomington. She is a 1991 graduate of the University of Toledo Law School and is licensed to practice in both the State of Ohio and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Tammie is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, William Howard Taft American Inn of Court, Allen County Bar Association, and Ohio Judicial Conference. Additionally, she has served as an adjunct faculty member for Tiffin University and Ohio Northern University College of Law. Tammie currently resides in Bluffton with her husband Bob. They are the parents of Nathan, a student at BGSU, and Madison, a student at Lima Senior High School.
